Classes
A complete practice for strength, flexibility, breathing, focus, and meditation.
At DeRose Method Augusta, classes are structured, guided, and adapted to your level.
You will work with techniques for the body, breathing, concentration, relaxation, meditation, and self-awareness, with close attention from the instructor and space to progress at your own rhythm.

Strong, intelligent practice
Each class brings together different elements of the DeRose Method.
The practice can be demanding, but it should never feel careless or forced. We want you to be challenged in a way that is intelligent, attentive, and appropriate for where you are.
Challenging, but respectful of your rhythm.
Your first visit is an experimental class.
You will meet the school, practise with one of our instructors, and get a clear sense of how the DeRose Method works.
Come in comfortable clothes and arrive a little early so we have time to welcome you and explain how the class works.

Progress through regular practice
Progress looks different for everyone. What matters is regular practice and the ability to notice what changes over time.
with attention
Professional, attentive, and progressive
Classes are led by qualified instructors who pay attention to your level, rhythm, and progression.
The aim is not to force the body or perform for other people. It is to develop greater command over yourself through technique, attention, and consistency.
You will be encouraged to progress, but also to understand what you are doing and why. Good guidance means knowing when to challenge yourself and when to listen more carefully.

Life at AugustaThe school experience continues through people, culture, and shared moments.
Many students stay after class for chai, conversation, lunch, workshops, or simply a little more time at the school. The class may be where you begin, but over time Augusta becomes a place to practise, learn, meet people, and take part in a shared culture.
